艾琳·施瓦茨博士是一位来自美国的艺术史学家，在温州生活和工作了五年， 主要研究现当代艺术、视觉文化、艺术理论和哲学等问题。她在俄亥俄大学获得跨学科艺 术博士学位，专攻当代非洲艺术。她对西方和非洲文化有一定的研究经验。作为教授，施 瓦茨博士曾在美国和中国的大学任教，目前她是温州肯恩大学艺术史课程协调员，她教授 多门课程，以支持温州肯恩大学新实施的艺术史辅修课程。在教学与研究之余，施瓦茨博 士在博物馆研究、策展和艺术批评方面经验丰富。

Dr. Erin Schwartz is an American art historian who has lived and worked in Wenzhou for five years. Her research is primarily focused on issues of contemporary and modern art and visual culture, as well as art theory and philosophy. She received her doctorate degree in Interdisciplinary Arts from Ohio University, specializing in contemporary African art. She has research experience in Western and African cultures. As a professor, Dr. Schwartz has taught at universities in the United States and China, she is the Coordinator of Art History at Wenzhou Kean University where she teaches a wide variety of courses in support of WKU’s newly implemented Art History minor program. In addition to teaching and research, Dr. Schwartz has experience in museum studies, curation, and art criticism.

项冰灵，英国华威大学社会学硕士学位，专攻科学、媒体、公众参与方向。曾担任英格兰中部地区学联华人春节联欢晚会英文主持及翻译。现就职于温州肯恩大学人文学院。近年来，她全心投入高校教育工作，丰富的跨文化交流经历令她尤其热衷于语言与文化传播事业。

Mrs. Xiang Bingling received her Master’s Degree in Sociology from University of Warwick in the UK, specialized in Science, Media and Public Engagement. She was once the hostess and interpreter at the Chinese New Year Gala of Students’ Union in Central England. Currently, she works at Wenzhou-Kean University, College of Liberal Arts. Years of higher education experience and cross-cultural communication has enhanced her passion for language and cultural promotion.

为拓宽温州与全世界不同地域的文化探究和学术交流，寻踪文化交融新思路；由温州市文化广电旅游局主办，温州博物馆承办“文化对话：从世界看温州”系列讲座正在进行中。5位来自温州肯恩大学的教授从各自的研究领域出发，从温州历史文化和历史遗存中的具象点切入，开展温州与世界文化的对比与对话。与此同时，也让更多国际友人、文化使者有机会深入了解温州的千年文脉传承、深厚的人文底蕴和独特的文化基因。

因疫情防控需要，也为确保活动安全开展，系列讲座转成线上直播形式面向大家，这也将更具文化对话的传播意义。

For deepening the cultural research and academic exchanges between Wenzhou and other regions in the world, and discovering new ideas on cultural integration, the “Intercultural Dialogue: Understanding Wenzhou from a Global Perspective” serial lectures, held by Wenzhou Culture, Broadcasting and Tourism Bureau, organized by Wenzhou Museum is on the way. In these serial lectures, five professors from Wenzhou-Kean University are going to address some specific subjects concerning culture and history of Wenzhou city from their own research interests respectively, aiming at cultivating an intercultural dialogue between Wenzhou and the world. Meanwhile, it also intends to invite more people worldwide to have a deeper understanding of Wenzhou’s long historic heritages and unique cultural genes.

For the safety concerns under this pandemic circumstance, we have to make some adjustments to the lecture series. All the lectures will be delivered ON-LINE via live-streaming, which may hopefully reach out to a large audience.
